UPLOADED: The Asian American Movement focuses on the revolution of Asian Americans thanks to the usage of new media. Views of this revolution feature big name YouTube and new media stars including Kevin Wu aka KevJumba and Christine Gambino aka HappySlip.

I had the pleasure to work alongside Rommel Andaya and Mark Gadia. I helped edit the trailer, which will be viewed worldwide.

I watch these stars online and on the big screen and it was fascinating watching the footage of these people getting serious about the Asian American movement and their personal experiences with it. JustKidding films really hit a nerve because I’ve only seen their hilarious YouTube-side but as serious commentators, they’re in tuned about their success and influence on the Asian community.

This feature documentary will be premiering at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, May 16th. If I find the proper arrangements to get to LA, I will be there! :)
